Can't get a preview for JPG files neither open them with Photo Editor.

When entering as one user of my domain, I can't get a preview out of JPG files; all I see is the icon of the program. But I DO get a preview for BMP files on the same folder...

And when trying to open the pic with Microsoft's Photo Editor (Office 2000 version), I get an error similar to this: "Can't find the file extension info in the registry".

But when entering as an admin of the domain, I got neither of these problems...
Weird hu?
What can I do to solve this?
