Can't get a picture out of picture on desktop

So my wife is trying to save pictures of dogs and what not that she got through a friend via email. Well she tries to put one on the desktop and now it seems permanently affixed - almost like a picture in picture type of TV thing. So I got to properties and try to remove it and it's not there. You can change the desktop picture behind it, but the 4 " dog picture stays on the desktop no matter what you change behind it. What am I missing here. Thanks for any info.

Which version of windows? If 98 is active desktop enabled?

I say active desktop still may be a part of it. Try to disable that from desktop properties. I say active desktop because your wife tried to save the picture from the internet. Check that!

Hey thanks for making me look again. I figured it was there somewhere too. It's under Desktop ->Customize Desktop -> Web

I guess it was hiding under web as my wife grabbed from email. Later on.
