Can't fully uninstall Baldurs Gate II

A few hours in the game froze on me. I was able to uninstall once but the reinstall didn't work either. The game still resides in my Start button->Programs folder but not in Settings->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs. I want to reinstall but I'd like to fully uninstall first. Anybody have any suggestions or know of any programs that might help?
P.S. I was using my backed up copy and I think disc 2 might be the problem.
 
The thing in your Start Menu -> Programs is just a shortcut to the game, not the actual game itself. Check your uninstall log next time to see if the game was properly uninstalled and what the uninstaller left behind just to make sure.
