Can't FORMAT!!!

I'm having trouble formatting my computer. I run a western digital Raptor 73GB SATA harddrive. I'm having trouble formatting. I know my floppy works because I booted into windows and windows recognizes it. When I reboot and run the windows XP setup off the cd it says "Press F6 to install RAID driver" it doesn't do anything when I press F6. If I press F2 for "Automated Recovery" it works fine so I know my keyboard isn't messed up. Also if I just let windows continue with the setup it doesn't find any harddrives so I can't format and install windows..

I don't know how to get windows to recognize when I push F6 so I can install the RAID drivers for my harddrive. I have done this before and I can't remember what I did. Also my keyboard isn't one of the keyboards with F-Lock on it.

Please help me out! Thanks!

I don't have the CD with me. I am up at school. I need to figure out how to install the RAID driver so windows will recognize my hard drive when I want to install windows. When it prompts me to press F6 to install the driver from floppy it won't recognize when I press F6...

the RAID driver is required for windows to recognize the HD when you want to install windows. Atleast that is what I had to do when I have formatted before
