Can't find where to lower/raise cpu voltage in bios??

I recently purchased an axp 2500+ and recieved it today. While i left my computer running for around an hour, it crashed and the screen said windows just recovered from a serious error. i'm in windows, though i haven't reactivated windows yet like it's telling me to do. my cpu voltage is at 1.71v, and i can't find anywhere in my f3 bios to change the cpu voltage in a sequence like (1.6, 1.65, 1.7, 1.75, 1.8 etc.). my motherboard is a gigabyte ga-7n400 pro 2. does anyone know where in the bios i can do this?? i'm thinking it's too hot, that's why it crashed... and i haven't overclocked or anything yet. thanks for the replies guys.

If you are upping your FSB, yes that can cause it to crash as your memory is really only capable of 333mhz ( stock )

If you can find it in there, do a BIOS update ( while not overclocked )

Go for the multiplier first, then bump your memory a mhz at the time considering you are going to hit the wall soon..

Do 2.8V for the Vdimm ( memory ) when you find it..

Keep it below 1.8 for the CPU.

🙂

yes i know about the bumping the fsb, i had already set that back down, but the problem i was having is that i i can't find where to change the voltage in my BIOS it allows me to change it to 3 different options - and i can only change it up - can anyone help me??
