Can't Find the Right DVI Cable

Hello all:

I'm trying to find a 10'+ DVI cable for some Dell 2005fwp monitors that we have here at work. However, in my search I have found varying types of cables. In fact I purchased a Belkin Single Link cable that had some extra pins. The Dual Link cable does not have these same pins and would fit the video card and monitors. The cards (GeForceMX 4000s) don't need DD cables but I can't find any other that have those pins missing. Will it harm the cards by/computers/monitors by using a dual link cable?

Thanks.

Are you talking about the extra pins in a DVI-I cable for the Belkin cable?

I think you can just use a standard 10' DVI-D or DVI-I cable and it should work fine.

Dual link cables should be just fine though too, as they wont hurt anything if they're not used to their full potential.
