Can't find SNL or MADtv clip w/dumb people misusing "smart" words.

I'm trying to find a funny clip for my sister because it's relevant to a conversation we had earlier. I can't remember who was in it so I can't remember if it was Saturday Night Live or MADtv (RIP; SNL hasn't made me laugh in years) but I can remember what the skit was about. It took place in a room or apartment where a bunch of friends were conversing about topics that they thought were intellectual, but they misused words constantly without skipping a beat, exposing their ignorance while they continued believing that they were smart. IIRC, some corrected others with even worse misinformation.

If anyone could tell me what show it was, who was in it, or even provide a link to the video, I'd be appreciative. Thanks!

I don't know about that, but Damon Wayans used to personify a hegemony on In Living Color as a recalcified... excuse me... reconnoitered prisoner who was trying to help his fellow inmates expand their vocabulary.

That's immediately what sprang to my mind, although I thought it was David Allen Grier. After seeing your post I think you are in fact correct about Wayans. Perhaps Grier appeared in a few iterations of the sketch, and I know he did a similar sketch as a prisoner of sorts.

"Doctor's and Nurses, Nurses and Doctors" Alec Baldwin and Phil Hartman, Julie Sweeney etc.

Alec Baldwin discussing his soap opera on some entertainment show. He plays a doctor: "He has Kanker of the Colan!" "Ee-sofageeus," and such. Freaking hilarious, especially Hartman and Baldwin wiht their dramatic faces

MadTV has always sucked, so don't bother searching for something you rememebr being funny there.. ;)
