Can't find my CD Drives!

Both my Plextor CD Drives show up in the Device Manager and there are no error messages on it, but when I open up "My Computer", it's not there. I've tried to restart several times, but it's not working. Any suggestions? Should I uninstall the drives from the Device Manager and hope that it will detect it when I restart?
 
i had this problem in win me (9x), and to sovle the problem, i had to rearrange hardware IRQ's because there was a conflict between my IDE controller, and my soundcard
