Cant find Boot.ini!

I have WinME and 2K duel boot and need to access the boot.ini file but I cant find it anywhere! Ive made sure that windows shows hidden files and hidden system files but its still nowhere to be found in either drive. How the hell do I find it and what file is it sup[posed to be in?

login to ME go to start:run:msconfig:BOOT.INI

or go start:run:boot.ini


that should work = /

the boot.ini file is in c:\ normally.

If you enable 'show hidden files' and diable 'hide protected operating system files (recommended)' you should be able to see boot.ini.

Start > Run > cmd

attrib boot.ini -s -h -r

Edit it then

attrib boot.ini +s +h +r
