hey guys,
last couple of days I've been reading reviews on wireless keyboards with an integrated touchpad or trackball, to be used on an HTPC. I don't want to spend €150 or more for those Logitech DiNovo or similar.
A bit of a frustrating quest actually: it seems cheaper (well, I don't find €40 - €100 for a keyb/mouse that cheap) boards all have some small or big flaws.
For the moment my preference goes to the Enermax Aurora micro wireless (about €75), but... I'm not sure I can get it with an azerty layout. For me qwerty is doable, but my wife won't like it.

Any other good suggestions?
I've already looked at that PS3 board by Logitech. Its touchpad is rather small, and I prefer RF over BT as BT only works after the OS has loaded.
Trust has 2 boards, but reviews are mixed positive/negative. Mostly problems with build quality & connection problems.
KeySonic has quite some boards that look like a laptop, but the keyboard layout is probably only qwerty US & German. Not 100% sure though.

Gyroscopic mouse aren't that practical, not very precise. I've worked with that kind of stuff in meeting rooms at work, don't want that for home.

I have about enough of reading wireless keyboard reviews of various models over and over again, and always hearing after finding a pretty good one that it's not available with an azerty layout. >:-(

If I don't get some positive feedback from some manuafacturers I've sent mails to, I will be going for the Logitech DiNovo Edge. It's expensive (€129), but at least it's azerty, well built, has a stable wireless connection, has an integrated touchpad and configurable F-keys. Quality has its price I guess...
I would have prefered an RF connection instead of bluetooth, and regular AA or AAA batteries instead of an integrated (probably not exchangeable) Li-Ion battery, but it seems there's no other good alternative.
