Greetings all.

I've been poking around forums and teh Googles for the last few hours and I've been frustratingly unable to find any benchmarks for Geforce 670 2-way SLI at 7680x1440 (three catleap 27" monitors worth of tiny dots).

I currently run a single 27" catleap with my dual 670's and it tears through everything. I'm tempted to get two more catleaps, but I don't know if my existing set-up would power it adequately or not.

I'm running a Core i5 3570k OC'd at 4.4GHz and two Gigabyte 670 GV-N670OC-2GD in 2-way SLI, with 16 GB system memory on Windows 8 64-bit.

Has anyone seen any reviews for multi-monitor gaming at this resolution with the 670 or 680s in 2-way SLI? Does anyone in this forum have a similar build and can tell me if it would or would not work for games like borderlands 2, batman arkham city, and other modern titles?

Thanks.

I'd be surprised if 670SLI would have enough GPU power for that many pixels. I also think you'd run into a VRAM problem with only 2gig cards at that res. Of course, if you reduce settings, especially AA, that might not be a problem.

The highest I see people benchmarking surround/eyefinity at is 5760x1200. That stretches dual SLI/Crossfire in a lot of cases so I can confidently say it will require a reduction in graphics settings to perform well.

But if you want to do it I would be really interested in the results as I am kind of considering doing the same thing but haven't done so because I fear the 680's wouldn't really cope with even more pixels, they struggle enough as is.
