can't fill out my pdf forms

So I am trying to fill out this pdf form that is supposedly let me type in the forms and then I can print it out. The problem is, I can't type on it. When the "I" cursor appear and I click on an open space, nothing happens and I can't type in it either. I have Adobe Acrobat 7.0 updated to 7.0.5. WinXP Home SP1.

These are the security settings:

Printing: Allowed
Document assembly: not allowed
Content copyng or extraction: allowed
Content extraction for accessibility: allowed
Commenting: not allowed
Filing of form fields: allowed
Signing: not allowed
Creation of template pages: not allowed
Submitting forms: not allowed

I have seen the msn toolbar in IE screw around with Acrobat, though if I recall in that situation, IE would crash when opening a pdf file for filling in the forms, just had to uninstall the msn toolbar.

I don't have a MSN toolbar nor do I have any problem with IE, since I open my pdf in Adobe Reader, separately from IE.
