Can't even overclock my X1950pro 3mhz

I'm kinda stumped. The drivers that came on the CD get a much better video stress test and 3dmark score than the latest drivers ATI has released. I can overclock the newer drivers, but can't even budge the old drivers. What am I doing wrong?

Try omegadrivers...he optimizes the drivers for maximum performance.

what brand x1950pro do you have?, if it's a sapphire then give up now, they overclock like sh!t

mine overclocks ... just can't use the CCC [it's still pretty worthless for OverDrive]

I did...20mhz core and 35mhz memory increase is a sh!t overclock...but then again anything less than what I'm getting out of my trusty BFG 7800GS OC, I consider sh!t....
