Hard pass. I hate drones - it should absolutely be a crime to operate a drone over someone's property without permission.
 
I actually had a dream about this years ago. I was sitting outside and started seeing ads in the sky but it was taking up a much larger area. Part of me was intrigued as I wondered how they were doing that, if it was drones or some kind of projection system or something, and part of me was kind of sad at the idea that this could be the future and we won't even see the stars anymore. Then, the whole thing started to collapse and fall out of the sky. It had turned out to be drones that were holding some sort of very large LED drape. I imagine drones swarms like used in drone shoes would be the way to do it if they wanted to cover such a large area.

Given this is China, they will probably use this for enforcement, like they were doing during covid. Will have a loudspeaker and written messages on it telling people to go inside.

I can see a "good" use for this though, such as in stadiums and other events.
 
A bass fisherman I used to watch on YouTube was flying a drone over some guy's house in rural Texas several years ago. The homeowner was.... displeased. They left quickly. lol
 
Drones are fucking annoying. I could count the times I've seen one on one hand, but I don't like being watched remotely, and the constant buzz going in the background is a distraction. I'm always thinking "Where's the fucking drone?"

What I hate is the people that are assholes with drones are the reason why there's so many rules now. Have to register drones here now and also need a license. It's basically like a gun.

I dunno I really enjoy the unnecessarily loud BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZing on them while I'm on a hike from some ahole drone operator. Now they can show me ads of things I definitely need to buy conveniently while I'm on a trail!
 
We need a good “anti-drone” weapon that doesn’t shoot conventional bullets which might come back down and hurt or kill somone.
 
They do have RF jammers that essentially causes the drone to lose communication, and most drones will default to landing if that happens. A second drone with a net could also work, get it tangled and then lower it in a controlled way in an area with no people.
