CAn't enable DMA on DVD player

I can't enable DMA so video is jerky.

Didn't have this problem before I re-installed windows.

How do I fix this?
 
😉 Almost certainly something to do with the mobo drivers. Try the latest ones (check both chipset and mobo manu) and if you still have no luck perhaps try some of the older ones (esp if they are the latest your mobo manu have on their site). Do be sure to check the Device Manager usually under IDE/ATA Controllers in the Advanced section of Properties.
 
Make sure you have the latest BIOS and chipset drivers for your system and make sure you have the latest firmware for your drive.
