Can't Do Windows Updates - Win2k Pro Box

For some time now, we've been having troubles with one machine only when trying to do Windows Updates. I go to the Windows Update site like normal and after hitting "Express Install" it comes back telling me that it failed because my date and time appear to be incorrect (don't have the exact error message with me at this time). Sure enough, I double check and the date and time are in fact correct. It doesn't give me any other suggestions. It used to work fine until a few updates ago when we started to get this error for whatever reason.

Ideas?

I had this problem once and it did turn out to be the date and time in my BIOS. I did not even figure it out until a couple more times then I saw the year was wrong and everything else was right. Changed the year and everything is fine.

Same here. Had a client with exact same problem and operating system.. turned out the year was set to like 2017 or some such.. close enough that the dates and days seemed to match up okay, which is why it wasn't easily noticed.

Yeah I thought about the BIOS, but didn't think Windows would care about that as long as the date in time in Windows iteself was correct, which it is. I'll get into the BIOS and have a quick look just to make sure the date and time are correct in there too. I'll let you know how it turns out. Thanks for the replies!

So I just went in and checked out the date and time in the BIOS. It's correct there as well. I'm pretty much out of ideas, except it's going through a Linksys Wireless router, I'm going to see if maybe that's causing the problem somehow. It shouldn't though as other computers are going through the same router and having no issues.
