Can't do Windows Update, Nothing shown on my IE, Please Help...

Hi,

I am not sure what causes this. One thing for sure is I just install SP2 and somehow now I can't do a windows update.

Also, I can't do the system restore and on my computer management -> services, the extended menu dissapear.


I have a feeling this has something to do with web related. maybe missing the file or something like that.

Maybe someone can help me out.

there were rumours that Sp2 would install on all systems but would block access to windows update on certain....unauthorised keys. maybe that is the problem?

I don't think it's the problem with the key as this key is from Compaq system.

I have a feeling this has something to do with registry error or something like that.

maybe someone else having the same problem?
