Can't DL Win 7 or Win 8.1 ISO?

I realized going through my updates that my system hasn't installed win 7 SP1 yet, and every time I try to do it manually the install fails, saying some critical component is missing. I'm trying to DL the win 7 ISO from MS and the servers keep timing out (502 - Web server received an invalid response while acting as a gateway or proxy server) and even tried just DLing the 8.1 ISO (I have a product key for that one that I've never used) and the upgrade assistant says it's not available for DL in my region? WTF? Can anyone walk me through what's going on here?

Thanks for the help...I tried that page and it doesn't like my product key. I have this key from an old technet subscription I had back in 2009, do they not support those keys anymore?

MS is clearly trying to get you off of Win 7.

You can borrow a disk.

Or you can go to unauthorized sources and take your chances that whatever ISO you find has not been doctored.

The exe for Win 7 64 bit SP1 alone (not with Windows; just the service pack) is named "windows6.1-KB976932-X64.exe".

You might be able to run that down. It's 903 mb in size.

Yup, DLing that now, tried installing it last night and that's when it gave me the issues, and said I needed to do a repair install or full reinstall. Working on a workaround from MS right now, thanks again for the help.
