can't disable vsync with kyro2...

i have a prophet 4500 and no matter if i install the powervr ref drivers or the hercules drivers, i can't seem to disable vsync in opengl. i've tried win2k and xp to no avail. i tried using pstrip...that didn't do anything either. the reason i think vsync in still enabled is because q3 timedemo scores are almost exactly the same for 640, 800, and 1024 in 32bit. I have a tbird at 1540...so no cpu limitations. help me out if you can...maybe a registry key?

im reading all these benchmarks and the prophet 4500 should be able to pump out at least 100fps at 640x480x32 in quake 3, but im only seeing around 65 in windows 2000 and xp. do you have to run it in 98 to get that performance?

No Win2k performance is just as fast as Win98 for Kyro. Have you ticked "disable waiting for verticle sinc" in the OpenGL part of the Kyro II optimisations? or if you have a driver profile for Q3 then tick it there instead.
