cant delete stuff on my website

so I d/loaded coppermine image gallery and transferred the folder to my webserver, but it is not working, so I tried to delete it. It is not deleting though....


when I click on the folder and click delete on ws_ftp, it said it failed....

any ideas on how to delete it? it is taking too much space...

talk to your host. Your webserver is probably running in a group you don't have write rights to.

Why did you download coppermine?

It should already be in your cPanel, look for AUTO INSTALL SCRIPTS towards the middle or lower right?

You can delete the folder, just login to cPanel, click File Manager, find the folder and DELETE it. Should work just fine.

hey rossman, sorry I didnt replyyour message last time on msn.....I haven't been able to get online...yea, I tried to install coppermine w/ cpanel, but after I installed and logged in, I wasn't able to upload anything at all...that's why I tried it....


but yea, i'm not sure if i'll be online tonight or not, but I guess we can just meet whenever we meet...haha...

Login to coppermine
Create an album first
Then upload, it should work 🙂

I went to coppermine, but I dont know how to creat album....nothing happens when I click the album button...

another quesiton. when I go to the computer in my desktop to coppermine, it works and I am able to upload files(uploading now)....but when I log in using my laptop(where most of my pictures are), I dont see the gray buttons that let me configure coppermine...any ideas?

also, when I go straight to the url w/ any computer, I think it logs in as administrator automatically.....
