I'm looking for a laptop that will be a pseudo desktop replacement. I'm keeping my desktop still basically.
I'm torn between these two guys:

Asus A8Js

I'm leaning towards the Asus but I have been unable to find any retailer that has it in stock.

My current desktop consists of an AMD 3000+, 2 gig memory, Radeon 9800 pro so basically anything will be much better than what I have. My budget is about $1500 so if anyone has a better suggestion, I'd appreciate it :)

If you want the Asus, wait a few days. Newegg claims they'll have them on 10/30. Proportable.com (one of the best resellers of Asus notebooks) says they'll have them on 11/3.
