Microcenter has a great deal where I can $40 off the Mobo but I am having a hard time picking between these 3-

Out of the 3 the asus one is the cheapest since it comes with a $15 rebate as well. All of these boards basically have a $15 difference. Honestly I'm really not that big on overclocking. I just think it could be a cool fun feature to have. Which one do you guys think is the best deal?

Welcome to the forum :)

To me the Asrock looks to be the best choice....Based on looks and the additon of the xtr heatsink above the cpu socket.

My second choice would be the Gigabyte board.

Asus left a bad taste in my mouth with my rma experience.

ASUS has been great to me. Why did you have to do RMA ?

Gigabyte...... lol ive been using ASUS for 17 years. Not a single product went bad, except for us messing up the socket,,, asus took care of that too.

Motherboard enthusiast know this much.
ASUS = Bigger company
ASUS = high quality parts and PCB Military Grade.
ASUS = more sales

Based on those 3 categories ASUS is the better. But Gigabyte is #2 having built a couple doesn't give any problems... I will always say with motherboards either get a ASUS or Gigabyte. then your safe. nothing will blow up in the middle of the night. They provide mucho quality and quality PCB ..... gl

The Extreme 4 is great. I've used 2 of them and I can clock my 3770K up to 5.2Ghz with it.

Agree with this order.

Asrock and Gigabyte make a great varierty of good quality boards less than $150. Although Asus is great overall, they fail to deliver on the budget minded customers as their rma rates and significantly higher on lower priced boards, as evident by numerous reviews.

Is there any reason why I shouldn't get the asus one for $15 cheaper?
You could if you want to but you'll also lose some features. The ASRock has 2 additional SATA 6Gb/s ports from a 3rd party controller and comes with buttons on the motherboard itself along with PORT 80 debug display.

I'd go with the ASRock but any of these 3 boards will meet your needs. Very minor feature difference between all of them.

I would go with Asrock.

I have a Pro4 M and its solid.

I had to RMA the first one because the audio was bad and the process was absolutely painless. Asrock actually does RMA right IMHO.

Of the three boards listed I would go with the ASRock Z77 Extreme4 is the one I would pick. There has been a lot of reviews on it and they feel it is one of the better values for the dolloar.
