cant decide on new car

NFS4 your a car freak what do you think? i like the volvo because its cheaper and the S-60 has the AWD and has the 2.4T AWD - 197 hp Turbo engine.

this is their newest concept car. Saab cannot make a nice looking car.

From what I've seen, Saab resale values are very cheap.
Check out the prices of some used Saabs at your local dealership..

Well, looks are subjective and if Citrix is considering the 9-5 then he must not think that it is too ugly.

Citrix, if you like the Volvo then go with it. Although I like the 9-5, I don't think it is worth the extra money compared to an S60. The S60 looks good and is of course very safe. Your profile says you are in Boulder so I would think AWD would be very useful as well.

Volvos are more dependable, IMHO, and AWD is very nice to have, but AWD is also a gas sucker.

I think it?s time for automakers to start adding an off switch and using computer controlled hub locking/unlocking devices for the 95% of the time when 2WD is just fine. Unlocking the drivetrain from the tires and going to 2WD mode, like they do on most trucks, would help performance and fuel economy in good weather.

I love the styling of the those Saab 9-5's. Although I do like the Volvo S-60, I think If I could afford a 9-5 that's what I would get.

i can't reccommend a saab... some have trouble.. they aren't as refinded as volvo... but i don't really reccomend volvo either.. but out of those 2.. volvo s60... (only volvo i like is the s40 )

Saab is known for it's terrible torque steer and lesser handling and also is a bit dated design. The S60 is a relatively new, safer and should handle better (among the two) given it's AWD. Try getting the higher powerd 247hp S60. That should be plenty quick. The base 197hp is not really that great.

Seriously, depending on the task at hand, the S-60 is on par if not better than the Saab. Test drive them both, then see what you like.
