Can't decide on a lap top

As usual when I research any electronics, I have a hard time deciding what to choose. I need to buy a lap top for my wife. It needs to have a 15" screen, wireless-N capability, any kind of video out port to hook up to our 50" HD TV ( vga, dvi, or hdmi). She will only be using it to connect to her work. No office software is needed. And keep the price under $1000.00. I have researched lap tops until I think I'm going blind. Any experienced suggestions would be appreciated.

If you want the best bang for the buck performance wise I'd go with lenovo T-series Thinkpads right now. They're 25% off plus an additional 15% CPP discount. There's even a model offered with Linux so you save even more if you have your own Windows CD, however, that one does not offer N wireless as the Windows preloaded models do.

Dell has $500 off $1249 and I think HP may still have a similar deal going on. So for both, you can really deck the laptop out with 2.4ghz core 2, bluetooth, accessories and dedicated graphics and still stay under $1000 after the discount.

Okay... here's a stupid question... how does one get the 15% CPP discount?
