I'm in the market for a widescreen LCD monitor and I've mainly been looking at the 22" ones. I will be using it for my computer and also for playing xbox 360 so it needs to be HD. I've been looking at some BenQ ones, a Sceptre one, and some random others. Has anyone owned any similar ones or have any suggestions?

I love my 22" westinghouse. Back when I got it, it was one of the only ones that didnt have backlight bleeding problems. It also features a good amount of inputs (DVI, D-SUB, component, composite, svideo) and has built in speakers (although they suck). It's also decently pleasing to look at as far as the design and color scheme.

I see the market saturated with lots and lots of 22" options now though, so I can't say this one would still be the best, or even a good choice for you.

all 22"'s use the same panel, so resolution will be identical on all of them. You will get different backlight bleeding from maker to maker. While looks are a subjective thing, I also find the Westinghouse to be one of the the best looking. Of course a lot of people hate the appearance of it.

new Vewsonic this one has a ipod dock and usb ports, is quite a bit more price, and will be the same panel as the other 22"'s. but it's sure nice looking.

The Westinghouse has the most input types and can be found for 350'ish shipped on Ebay, which is a killer deal.
