Can't decide MX 64meg or GTS 64meg

I have the nice choice of going between the GeForce MX with 64meg (Innovision) or the Leadtek GTS with 64 meg. Price difference is about $100.
I do not play a lot of high speed games. No Doom engine games anymore at all. I do play some flight sims and basically games with a lower demand for high speed graphics. However, I also do a lot of graphics stuff. Photoshop primarily and some PageMaker. That is where the 64 meg has my interest. Is it really worth the money to chase the GTS or should I just go for the MX? No, I do not want a voodoo or an ATI.

I dont think video ram helps with photoshop only physical ram size

I have been told that additional video ram could be a benefit. No real reasoning behind it! I am more understanding of physical ram being the biggest booster.
Just throwing it out there looking for information.

Mingon is right, you dont need 64mb of ram for what you do, whoever told you it would help has no clue. with that in mind you might as well go for the gts ulta, i mean if your gonna just blow cash on someting that doesn't help ya any you might as well blow a lot of cash. if you realy want make an upgrade to improve photshop for yourself you'll get yoursel a matrox card or one of those cards you already said you dont want but never said why, all of wich have much beter 2d quality. between the photoshop and the flight sims i thin a radeon le is calling your name.

i also have played UT on a matrox and it doesnt look half bad. pretty good in my book, so if youre into a little 3d gaming and such but lots of Photoshop, then go with a maxtrox. cant beat the 2d and drivers are alittle more stable than the radeon in win2k.

The MX's problem is that its memory is too slow rather than not having enough of it. Get the GTS.

As for the Photoshop comments, I'm not sure whether extra VRAM will help it or not. It's possible that if you've magnified image and some of it is offscreen, it might benefit from the extra RAM. But I'm not sure.
