Can't create partion on CF card

I have a bootable 128mb cf card that I copied to a 512mb cf card using winimage.

The new 512mb card will not boot.

In copying the image, a 128mb partition has been created and I am now unable to delete that partition. The "delete partition" item is greyed out.

What I ultimately want to do is get the bootable 128mb image onto the 512mb card and also have the extra memory available.

Can anyone recommend any freeware programs to do this, or anyway of doing it with winxp?
Any tricks or tips would be appreciated as I am unfamiliar with using this stuff.

You have to make the 512 bootable first - then simply copy the files from one to the other just using Explorer.
