Can't Connect - wifi AP

I have a dual band gateway connected from my provider (i am able to connect hard connected / wifi 2g / wifi 5g). I have a Netgear R6300v2 (dual band) connected to the gateway as an access point. All hard connected pc's work fine to the AP and I am able to connect easily to the 2g AP network. For some reason I am not able to connect any thing to the 5G wifi AP network. I am able to see the network but when trying to connect I get error "unable to join network".

Tested with Ipad - able to connect to the providers wifi 2G & wifi 5G | able to connect to the AP wif 2G but NOT able to connect to the AP wifi 5G network.

The 5g network is configured and the ssid is being pushed out from the AP (able to see the 5G network on all devices - just cant connect)

AP Settings:
WPA2-PSK [AES]
Channel: 153
Mode: Up to 1300 Mbps
No Wireless Card Access List set up
No time filters set

Any ideas on how to resolve - Thank you in advance
