Can't connect to wireless network...

Ok, so I'm running a wireless network in my apartment, to which I can always connect just fine... One of my roomates can almost all the time, and when she can't I can generally fix it by repairing or rebooting, but my other roomate can't connect wirelessly at all... her Netgear pc card can recognize that there is a network there, says there is very good or excellent signal strength, all that goodness, but it just can't actually connect to the network.

Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

Who set up the wireless router in the first place?

There are many reasons why your roommates are having problems connecting. First does your second roommate's desktop?/laptop? connect to any wireless network?

What kind of router are you using? Can you login to it and check its security settings? Why is it broadcasting a SSID.

Read the router manual and check out ezlan.net for proper wireless router configuration.
