I came home after a thunderstorm and the power had been out. The computer boots up just fine, but the network has "Limited or no connectivity". I have tried using a different network cable, changing the network card, to no avail. Any suggestions?

Sounds like your switch/router/hub is toast. Try a differen't port and see if it works.

this is a shot in the dark, but have you tried resetting the router? what brand router do you have? this will help out a little with troubleshooting. i don't want to assume your hardware is fried. also, try unplugging the router and let it sit for a while before powering it back on.

It will be very nice if you would be kind enough to give some info so that we can help.

Otherwise it is like: ?I got up in the morning and I have trouble with my car what shell I do"?

As an example if you are using Win3.11 or an Apple computer we need to know.

Mean time you can check the Computer Network?s setting.

Step One - Network Hardware:

Step Two - Verify the Network's setting:

If necessary.
Step Three - Installing, and Sharing:
