I set up a dualboot with W2K and W98SE. W98SE was installed first and the I made a partition(3GB) for W2K and it installed fine and eveything including a Q3 demo work fine but when I try to connect to the internet I get a RAS(Remote Access Service)error. It says either I'm out of system resources or I need to reinstall dial-up networking. I used W2K to get the dialup number for Prodigy Internet and that worked but when I try to use the numbers I selected I get the error message. W2K found the modem drivers of the CD so is there a possibility that Prodigy 5.0 isn't W2K ready? I haven't changed anything except for the maximum dialup speed 112200. Also I log in as an administrator and it is in the "power user" group. My modem is a 3Com\USR External. Is there a setup step that I missed? If someone knows how to view the log file I can give the exact error mesage. Thanks in advance! Matt mattf3@prodigy.net @@@@@@@I deleted Prodigy 5.0 from W2K and tried to set up an internet account through W2K setup. I chose Juno because it is W2K compatible and it goes all the way to the point of selecting my Juno Dialup number and after I select it I click next then the globe starts spinning for about three seconds. After the three seconds the internet setup box flashes and the globe is gone. I've tried waiting for awhile and using different numbers but they all do the same thing. The modem lights stay active the whole time like there is a connection(8 lights lit up instead of two when not online)so what is the deal? It is obvious that I can atleast get the info to and from Juno(picking screen name and finding local numbers) so whats the dealyo?!
