can't connect to DALnet now using mirc

Ever since they implemented that ident server thing on DALnet, I've been unable to connect to any server. I have turned on the ident server in mirc but I still get autokilled by the servers. Anyone know what the problem might be? Thanks.

I had that problem, using a standalone ident server did it for me. A quick Google search returns two Windows identds:
http://identd.sourceforge.net/
http://info.ost.eltele.no/freeware/identd/

You might have to run the standalone server before running mIRC (no matter whether you've turned the internal identd on or not). HTH!
