I bought dual link dvi-d cables and tried to connect my pc to the tv but it doesn't work.
I keep getting this "PC / DVI" popup that bounces around on the screen for a minute or two - then the TV goes into standby mode.
It worked fine using a VGA cable and a DVI adapter but I can't use a straight dvi cable.
When I had the VGA cable - the TV was set at DVI - Analog.
Obviously with the DVI cable it would be DVI-Digital. I tried to change TV to that setting and swap the cables but it still didn't work.
I think the TV is detecting the signal through the cable because if I take out the cable the TV gives me the "Check Signal" message.
The dvi ports on pc and tv are DVI-I but shouldn't both be compatible with DVI-D connection?
My VGA to DVI adapter is DVI-I.
