I was psyched to get a new mobo with firewire so I could tranfer video from my Sony DCR-TRV33 but I can't.
I believe I have everything set. Nvidia drivers installed , Windows sp1 installed, camcorder set to DV out, when I connect my 4-6 pin firewire I see in the camcorder LCD it says DV IN, but no app on my XP computer sees the camcorder. Not Windows Movie Maker or the Sony app Imagemixer. I tried a 4-4 pin firewire but not diff. Checked connections on the Abit NF7-S r2 and seem ok.
Any ideas??
