Can't click desktop icons in XP Home

For some reason I can't click on any icons on my desktop. I can mouseover the ones with long names and the little info bubble pops up, but can't select any icons. Start menu, etc. work fine. If I open the "desktop" folder in Explorer, I can select icons, no problem.

Anyone got any ideas?

Don't think I'm using a webpage for my desktop....


Edit: Found the option you're talking about. Box not checked. Thanks for the effort.
