Can't change to domain from workgroup. Help!!!!!

I want to add a server to a workgroup, and I'm having the most anoying problem. Everytime I try to change the workgroup to a Domain config, I get an error Saying Domain controller not found. How do I set up the controller for the domain?

You need to install WinNT and set it as Primary Domain controller, otherwise, it's all workgroups.
When you change workgroup to domain, you're just a NT workstation or NT server non domain. It then looks for a domain controller and registers the workstation/member server
