Can't change profile info

The error I get is due to my username having a "-" in the middle. It states I can't have a username with a dash so therfore it wont let me update my info. My username is already registered as you can see the way it is. Appreciate any help with the matter thanks

The problem is, our system no longer allows user names with "special characters," including puncuation marks like the hyphen in yours. It still allows legacy accounts to work, but even mods and admins can't update them.

The only solution is to change your user name to one that doesn't include any special characters. The user name, ViperFrag and Viper Frag are available. Reply to my PM to let us know your preference, and one of our moderators will help you. 🙂

You probably know we will soon (sooner is better!) be moving to vBullitin software. I don't know if it will be set to allow members to register names with punctuation. If it does, you can request a name change back to Viper-Frag after the move.
 
Viper Frag is fine. Would making the change still allow to keep my history, like when I first registered on Anandtech and posts? Thanks
