cant change my email address in my profile!!!

ok, heres the deal: my current email address that i have listed is no longer good. so i want to change my anandtech.com default email address, but i cant. i get two errors, first one says i dont have access to change it, error code 578, i think. then, if i try again, it says i need to be logged in to change what i want to change. wtf?? any suggestions/help? thanks for any help.

Are you trying to switch to a forbidden email address? The list of those is available in the FAQ (button at the top right of page.)
