Cant change FSB. Help!

I'm assuming the cpu I installed in my project computer is the Athlon 2600 333 256kb socket A that I ordered. I don't know if its locked (I dont want to crack it open and check quite yet). The problem is that my asus a7v400-mx MOBO has only 4 jumpers (5 settings for 200, 166, 133, 100, and auto configure (all off) fsb. Only 'all off' and '166' settings work (200 and 133 = windows wont boot) but either way, the BIOS displays the fsb as never changing from 100 and the specs always show the cpu at 1250mhz, max 3000 mhz. I assume there is an automatic 12.5 multiplier (cuz it seems theres no jumper for the multiplier) which would put me at about 2.1ghz (12.5 x 166) if i could get the fsb to set right. I'd like to be getting the regular 2.1 ghz... Doom 3 is chugging. I'm running an OEM radeon 9600 also. Any ideas... voltage maybe? Thanks.
