Can't Capitalize q in OSX

Hey guys I have a weird problem where I cannot do shift+q to make it capitalize. I can get it with caps lock however. This problem is pervasive through anything I can type on in OSX. I am running snowleopard and I believe is up to date with all software updates. What the heck do I do about this?

You probably have set a keyboard combo to Shift+Q. Check out Sys Prefs > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts.

That is what it sounds like to me. If you have another keyboard laying around, try it as well. If the problem still happens then it is 99.9999999999999999999999999999999 likely that it is a software problem.
