Can't burn iso's

i used to be able to burn iso's with easy cd creator 4 .. however i got rid of my old computer and nero came with this one .. nero absolutly will not burn an iso .. i can't get an isobuster to work AND i can't get adaptec to run compatible with xp .. anyone have a program to help me out?
 
fireburner burns isos as well..
Sony's burner program does it as well and it was a free download a while ago..I can't find the link now though..

Yep, works evertime for me too.

Im using Nero 5.5.

I do keep reading about people having trouble with Nero & iso files, Ive always wondered why.

What version are you using?

Is it lower than Nero 4 as EmporerRob suggested?
 
BTW, Isobuster works on my WinXP Home as well as WinXP pro also, maybe you downloaded a corrupt file?
 
yeah i tried nero, fireburner, isobusters nothing worked .. i finally just downloaded a roxio(adaptec) trial version and that worked .. i was getting so frustrated! the great thing is the file didn't do what i wanted to anyway .. all that aggravation for nothing .. thanks tho!!
 
I found this last night and thinking it might be of help to you...

Using Winimage I extracted the files in the iso file. Then I simply burned the newly extracted files (a cubic buttload of them. In this case it was WinDVD 2000) to the CD from within XP. No special burning software needed. When I was done I had a installation CD just like I had gone out and purchased the program or perhaps burned a copy of the original. Life is sweet.
