Can't browse servers in-game in Quake III and RtCW...

I used to be able to but all of a sudden nothing. I checked out the console and it's giving me a weird error something like cl_ServerResponsePacket 112 Servers Parsed (total 864). Any ideas? I didn't touch anything in the game's directory or anything so I don't know what I could be. I've reinstalled the game, got the latest updates (1.32 for QIII and 1.41 for RtCW). I also have the latest Punk Buster updates for both so WTF?

Are you using a software firewall?

try using a third party browser to find servers like www.udpsoft.com/eye

might be something on the activision support page

note a few ISPs seem to have gone waaaay OTT in blocking traffic with the worms etc on the go right now.
