Hello all,

I have just today put my new pc together. Excited, i turned it on a loaded in my windows xp boot disk. Ran the setup loading all the files in it needed, it then gets to the part where it says loading windows xp and then it crashes. I tried it with both my XP SP1 and XP SP3 boot disks. Not sure what the problems are.

Here are the mobo and pcu specs. Please help me!

Mobo: ECS BLACK SERIES GF8200A
PCU: AMD Athlon X2 7850 Black Edition

Try it with one stick of ram and see if it still crashes. If it does try another stick, you may also need to set mem settings manually.

Have you tried flashing with the latest BIOS?

That is a newer processor with an older motherboard.

Although if you are loading Windows maybe this isn't an issue.
