Can't boot with ATI Rage Pro PCI

Hi, so in waiting for my 7900GT step up, I just got myself an 8MB Rage Pro PCI. So I put the card in, I get no beeps and I can't even get to the first boot screen. I've tried resetting the CMOS and putting the card in different PCI slots . . . I just hope the card isn't dead . . .

Any suggestions?
