Can't boot up from 2nd channel. Only from primary. Giga 60xm7e mobo.

I cannot boot up with cdrom using a known bootable cd when it is connected to any of the 2ndary channel (primary master or 2ndary slave).

I can boot up with the same cd if I change my cdrom to primary slave or master.

Bios boot sequence is:

floppy
cdrom
hdd

?????? Is it possible to boot from Secondary IDE channel or is there a problem with this mobo? (Gigabyte 60XM7E-1)

I just flashed to latest bios and still no change.
edit: if i force bios to only be able to boot from cdrom, will that work?
