if i choose to boot from USB-HDD it says this:

SYSLINUX 3.63 Debian-2008-07-15 CBIOS Copyright (C)1994-2008 H. Peter Anvin
Boot: _

then i can enter anything i want where the blinking cursor thing is.

I tired many things all all i get is.

could not find kernel image: (whatever i typed)

any ideas?

Ok, press the button to enter the boot menu (I have same board, it's F12?) and go to hard drive (not USB-HDD) and select your device.

Yeah that's what I've been doing. I still get the "cannot find kernel image" error message.
