I have a home-built computer that has Vista on it, and I am trying to wipe that and install Windows XP MCE 2005.
However, I cannot get the thing to boot from a CD for the life of me. I go into the bios and change the boot order to boot from the CD-ROM. Then, when it's starting up it says "press any key to boot from cd", so I press a key and then it just loads straight into Windows Vista.
I've tried putting the MCE disk into another computer and it allows me to boot from it fine. Also, I've booted from CD on this computer before so I know I'm setting it up right in the BIOS, but it still just starts Vista everytime now no matter what.
When I load the MCE CD in windows the "Install XP" option is grayed out also.
The motherboard is a Biostar TForce TF7050-M2 if that helps.
