Can't boot a Slackware linux version 11 from an image in VMWare Workstation

I'm using version 5.5.2 of VMWare.

I first did a DVD copy to the Slack 11 DVD, then I copied to the PC that I want to use it with and then made it an .ISO file so I could use it with VMWare.

The DVD boots perfectly on the other PC.

I can't boot with the DVD on the PC with VMWare because I don't have any.

Any ideas on how to solve this?

Thanks!

How did you make the iso image?

A ISO image is a digital copy of the cdrom, they should be exactly the same as the disk you pulled the image from.. Coping files from one dvd to another or to a image isn't going to work.
