Can't add Rand to private topic

When I go to users and type in "Rand" he doesn't show up. I know kei had this same problem. Is this just a bug with certain users or what? Would like him to be able to view my post.

Sorry if this has already been covered before. Computer is too slow to search thouroughly... 😉
