Can't Access Windows Boot Menu

So to access the Windows boot menu, you hold F8 after the BIOS screen. Well, I've done that and I can't seem to access the menu. Turns out that my keyboard doesn't respond after the BIOS splash screen. Even if I can get to the boot menu, pressing up or down on my keyboard does nothing whatsoever.

I'm running Windows XP SP3. I used the same keyboard on my older rig and everything was fine, so it's probably a motherboard related problem.

Start tapping on the F8 just before it makes the jump from the POST diagnostics screen to loading Windows. There is a slight pause there between the Bios handing off control of the USB ports to Windows and windows being able to load the drivers for USB. So the button has to be pressed just before the windows load screen.

Thanks guys. Problem solved. I had the same BIOS function enabled before but it didn't work, but now it does. Thanks for the help :)
